Hrm... My initial reaction is that what's awesome about Vigeland's work is that his figures are individuals. He's also not afraid to show genitalia. In a public park. Where children play. Because Norway.

I know this is different in aim, probably. But that's my feeling. It feels like it's steeped in something completely different from what Vigeland is showing.
