Hilarious Proms encore with audience participation

Finnish violinist Pekka Kuusisto performs and has the audience perform with him a Finnish folk song My Darling is Beautiful (Minun kultani kaunis on).
I was kind of expecting some leek-spinning there.

So great! What a joy to watch, must have been twice as good to be there. I love it when seriously serious musicians have fun.

“The violinist had the audience on their feet…"
It was a promenade concert: much of the audience was on their feet the whole time :-)
(The Proms audience is rather special though, and they do respond well to artists who return the love.)
