WOO HOO! I felt so bereft when I got to the end of the first season, thinking that there wouldn't be any more.

Yayyy!! My husband and I binge watched these so quickly. It's such a refreshing comedy to watch. It's clever, light, self-deprecating but not mean spirited and as an American the accent tickles me because 'Stralia.

"Beneath these fun flirty veneers there is a maelstrom of anxiety waiting to devour us whole..."

Yes. This is why I love the ABC.

the blank stare where they forget their lines gag is simultaneously the funniest thing I've seen in a week and so embarrassing I feel like crawling into a cave made of blankets and dying

Yummy Mummies is the most hilarious, most disgusting, most making-me-laugh-choke-almost-die thing I've ever seen.

That's actually her placenta, btw.

There is a good interview with them on the Scriptnotes Podcast.

Right now it's 97 outside in Boston with 2000% humidity. I don't want to read. I don't want to cook. I don't want to run. I don't want to do yoga. I don't want to go to Walden Pond. I don't want to play with the dog. I've already binge-watched Mr. Robot.

Now I have something to do. Thanks, mate!

I insisted my mum ( and everyone else) watch the Thermomix episode when I was home at Christmas thinking we might find common comedy ground. Completely forgot about the intro reading youtube comments.

Yay I looooved the first season but have been unwilling to jump through the hoops required to pretend i'm in Australia to see season 2 because I'm lazy. So this is great!

I loved the first season! Had no idea they were doing another one. Thanks!

Episode 5 is probably funnier if you sat through many series of The Cook and the Chef. I believe I own the box set on DVD. Pristine, it is.

This is quite good. Episode 3 made me chortle.

I had to stop watching Yummie Mummies because I just couldn't take it any more . . . . but hey, isn't one of the Kardashians somehow involved in a business which takes a new mother's placenta, freeze dries and powders it, puts it in capsules, and gives it back to her (and her baby daddy) to take like a supplement?

I only saw it mentioned in a single line in a blog that played it for maximal contempt and derision, but I actually think that might confer some important benefits on a new mother (though the father should keep his hands off of it!), and I haven't had a chance to look into it yet.

Anyway, 'Katering Kooks their vitals bake.'

Did anyone else notice the... um... oddly shaped bag in the freezer during episode 2?

I've become a rabid recommmender of Australian comedy. Danger 5 and The Wizard of Aus (in particular) are amazing as well.
