Technical video voiceovers have their own expected tone and cadence, the same way that pilot-tower ATC communications do.

This is the most engaging speaker I've ever heard in a technical demo video. It sounds totally wrong.

I wonder how articulated mannequins made of various materials would be revealed by this technique (I don't think they would be). I simply don't believe this should be how the architectural health of any structure should be monitored and, as impressed as I am by the math that goes into "pull and snap-back" effect, it's only a subset of how objects interact.
