Best Supporting Weirdo is a movie mashup of " interesting, eccentric, and iconic characters", introducing themselves, making famous moves and saying famous quotes, and reacting to everything (often with NSFW language).

(if I have a problem with this collection, it is that a few of the roles are more Primary than Supporting - Gene Wilder in The Producers? Really?)

it also seemed only one or two women...which made me think there must be more?

And I noticed there were only a few women too, but I wonder if that's more a Hollywood issue.

Wow, that quick-cut editing was too much for me. Had to quit half way through. Which is too bad because I was trying to enjoy it and identify all the bits.

Cameron from Ferris Bueller? Cameron is the main character of that film.; Ferris is the supporting weirdo.

What was the Fred Melamed role? Since his recent (extreeeeeme weirdo) turn on Lady Dynamite I'm curious about what I may have missed in his oeuvre.

I saw Lady From Shanghai for the first time just recently, and Glenn Anders' inclusion is certainly warranted (though his character may not have come off quite as weird if the camera wasn't constantly two inches from his face).

I would have added Dwight Frye to the laugh segment...

The only John Waters reference is a character from the "Hairspray" remake? This list is fatally flawed.

I don't know, I feel like everyone in John's portfolio is the Best Leading Weirdo. And I say that with love.

This was delightful.
Also, I can't believe I never put it together, but Buzz from Hudsucker and David Soul Patch Guy from Singles are the same guy... but even more mind-blowing is that Heywood from Shawshank is freakin' DEATH!
I gotta go lie down now.

I guess they were observing a strict one-weirdo-per-movie rule and the title character* from Barton Fink got the slot. When we had the montage of introductions I figured Chet! was the obvious choice. Not just a memorably strange character, but a memorably strange introduction.

*Again, the lead?

According to the "nominated weirdos" list in the description below the YouTube video, there are two from "The Producers", Gene Wilder and the more obvious Dick Shawn. But then, the whole reason I posted this was to get some feedback and some suggestions of roles to add to the list... (what? no Christopher Walken?) And I agree that Title Characters should never be considered 'Supporting'... I mean really, Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice?

I agree that Title Characters should never be considered 'Supporting'.

Never say never. Exhibit A: The Third Man. Exhibit B: The Big Lebowski.
