I feel no personal shame or guilt about this, but I must keep it a secret, or I will lose my job on security grounds.

Forget where I saw it, maybe it was here, but yeah, not only is Tim Curry worthy of an Oscar for best actor, he deserves a truckload of them for MOST actor.

guiseroom, that would be Legend.

In which Tom Cruise delivers a very heartfelt apology to a unicorn.

Most of it from Muppet Treasure Island, good lord was that man having a blast making that film. Here is the single dumbest musical number to make it to the silver screen, transformed into lunatic brilliance by the Henson Company and one hell of an actor.

We really missed out on a Batman movie featuring a young Tim Curry as the Joker, didn't we?

He auditioned for the Joker role in Batman: The Animated Series that ultimately went to Mark Hamill.

Heeheehee!

I know Tim doesn't "heeheehee," but I do, so there.

I kept waiting for Anton Sevarius, but now that I think about it, I don't know if he ever did a good evil Tim Curry laugh in Gargoyles--I guess most of the maniacal laughter in the Sevarius episodes was from Keith David as Thailog.

Also: Tim Curry played Gomez Addams at one point? Is whatever that's from worth tracking down?

With Daryl Hannah as Morticia and I remember it being pretty terrible.

Yes, but in some perfect universe he plays opposite Burt Lancaster's Batman.

There's like half a second from it in this supercut so I will use it as paper-thin justification to recommend that everyone see Jerzy Skolimowski's The Shout as soon as possible. Such a brilliant, unjustly obscure movie.

His audio book work includes Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Geraldine McCaughrean's Peter Pan in Scarlet, Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, Bram Stoker's Dracula and the Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix.

Total missed opportunity in not including his role in Annie. His unctuous, crowing laugh guaranteed I was going to become a Rocky Horror nerd from the tender age of four.

I never would have guessed it was Tim Curry who played the devil in Legend, and I also missed the meme of some of his dialog put in an unexpected place, which my son, coincidentally, recently showed me.

Tim Curry is coming out of the retirement forced upon him by a stroke in 2013 to play The Criminologist in the upcoming TV adaptation of Rocky Horror. He's reportedly pleased by how the new version of the classic movie (which will somehow incorporate the audience participation that makes going to see the original so much fun) has turned out. Something to look forward to in late October?

Hahahahahaha!

Trying to remember whether Tim Curry laughed in Napoleon and Love. He may well have -- I don't remember, as I was too busy being transfixed by young Tim Curry being a sexy, sexy beast.

I'm sure he laughed in 'Times Square'. I loved that movie so much as a teenager.

When he was very young he did a version of Pirates of Penzance where he played the Pirate King and I would give LIMBS to see it but can't find it anywhere.
