As a German nerd, I feel it necessary to mention that Walpurgisnacht was way back on April 30. There. I feel tons better now. This community sustains me.

I was born on Walpurgisnacht. But not atop the Harz mountain. I'd like to think there was dancing like this for the occasion, however. The German officer's quarters were just down the block from us.
