Doctor Who Fan Orchestra

To paraphrase the Time Lord in question:

Homo sapiens! What an inventive, invincible species! It's only been a few million years since they crawled up out of the mud and learned to walk. Puny, defenseless bipeds. They've survived flood, famine and plague. And here they are, creating worldwide orchestras for no reason other than love of a thing.

Even if I didn't like Doctor Who or the music (I do!), the love-through-talent-and-organization shown by this project would make my heart burst with hope for humanity.

The best thing about Matt Smith leaving the show is they've finally stopped overusing the "I am the Doctor" theme over and over and over in every possible context. It was a nice theme, but damn it got annoying.

My cat definitely likes this music. Every time one of these ends, I get a look. Who knew!

I always chuckled at The Doctor's most formidable adversary being The Master. Because in academia, a Doctor always outranks a Master. I hope the new showrunner introduces a Time Lord called The Bachelor... or The Postgrad. Of course, if he ever meets The Lawyer, I'm gonna get really worried. But I digress.

Enjoying the music immensely. We've come a long way since the KLF doctored the TARDIS. Listening to it will help get me through until next spring (according to Peter Capaldi, but it may be later). And if the high-school-based spin-off "Class" turns out less fun than the "British Buffy" that some say it will be, I can just turn down the volume and turn on the DWFO.

DWFO or GTFO.

Thanks for posting this! I'm the one who posted it to projects and you can see me play violin in a few of the tiny squares.
