As someone who spends far too much time looking at abstracts, I thank you. My colleagues at the library are going to love these.

Well, yeah. When you have academic papers with the words "Robot" and "Zombie" in the title, it's pretty much begging for a cartoon adaptation.

These seem much harder to read than real abstracts. It's a funny gag, but that's about it.

I think for some people (including my students, who are learning to use academic journals), these will help with understanding. Reading and understanding academic journal articles is a learned skill, and this is a good tool to help with that learning.

This is a reasonably plain English summary of research papers with some cartoony stuff wound round it. Which isn't a bad thing, to be sure.
