Oh man, if this gets widely approved for autoimmune conditions I am so there.

This is the second optimistic report on MS treatments I've seen today. For some folks I care deeply about, I hope these avenue bear out to effective treatments.

And, really, the temporary tattoo as a medical treatment is sort of kick-ass.

I have a friend with MS, and I have no doubt she'd jump at getting the tats. That's just cool. If they came up with something similar for clinical depression, I would quickly be sporting my fist ever tat, temporary or not. Hell, I'd go for that Illustrated Man look.

Very few of the miracle advancements promised in these kinds of articles ever pan out, but they are fun to read and you never know which one will turn out to be a key new treatment.

So in Mage: The Ascencion, any magical effects that breach conensus reality are 'vulgar' and attract penalties. I was playing in a game that had spray on skin listed as a vulgar magical effect - until some people actually invented it IRL, and it became coincidental.

This is going to do the same thing for magical tattoos.

I'm pretty sceptical about MS treatments being hyped as the next cure because we've had a number of them pop up in the last few years. I'm currently on a pretty effective oral medication that seems to be doing a good job so far, so I suppose i'm allowed to wait. There are those whose condition is a lot worse than mine and they maybe can't wait. I don't want anybody to be disappointed really.

I don't have MS, but I have autoimmune disorders that manifest in unpleasant ways. I would be all over a tattoo.

I'm currently treating my autoimmune condition with intravenous infusions every six months. I'd love to have temporary tattoos instead, as long as they don't have to go over my real tattoos.
