Indiana Jones: the Animated Series (slyt)

A delightful fan-fantasy from animator Patrick Schoemaker.

Loved it. I would love for a weekly show drawing upon the same animation style as used by Legend of Korra, itself one of the most beautiful animated shows in recent memory.

That is some awesome Bluth-style animation!

There's also some inspiration from the amazing animated Batman (there is only really one that counts). Someone did their homework.

I'm always blown away when someone manages to capture a real person's image in a cartoon style, without ending up in the uncanny valley or breaking visual consistency with other characters. Doing it with animation is even harder.

I think I could love this. I love Raiders and one of the reasons is that every shot is like a frame from a graphic novel. As I assume Bob Regular is suggesting upthread, the "bad dates" scene, with the shot down through the ceiling fan, is a particularly striking example. But really, almost every single shot.

A nice, clean style that would totally work for me, and I'd watch every episode.

Patrick Schoenmaker co-illustrated a children's book I wrote a few years ago (and very lovely it is as well).

I'd not seen this video before and it's delightful.

I loved the Indiana Jones movies SO MUCH when I was a kid (with the exception of shitty Temple of Doom). This does a really great job of capturing that feeling of exoticism-and-kinda-exploitation tinged fantasy and adventure and distilling it into a little montage. A reminder.

I fed too many quarters into Dragon's Lair to be denied this fanimation from becoming a real series.
