"Cat lover game/young people 'cause we're stupid" is pretty close to Taylor's general lyrical feel these days, actually.

I was prepared to merely smile but I laughed very hard. I don't know why absurdism never gets old.

Hilarious, and she's also an incredible singer. Funniest music humor since misheard Joe Cocker lyrics.

I would like to watch the entire musical Sound of Music in this style. Although I would like "Sixteen going on Seventeen" to be completely replaced by Winger's "Seventeen."

And the Music Man. And Oklahoma. Shit, any of that style of musical would be lots of fun.

I have heard "Let It Go" far too many times, but one more didn't hurt. She can't punch it out quite like Idina Menzel, but then Ms. Menzel didn't have to deal with lyrics that didn't scan, rhyme, or, for that matter, make any sense at all.

Ha! I found the Bohemian Rhapsody one through the other FPP and was thinking that her work might make for a good FPP.

That Beelzebub, behind my bedroom ***king!

Took me a while to realize that the real lyrics are at the top of the screen - in case anyone else couldn't remember was "your behind" was a mistranslation of.

Still not sure where Canadian Marines came in.

"I sent the armament squadron to remind you to my baby" works quite well for "I will send a fully armed battalion to remind you of my love."
