aeon digital magazine posted the video Beautiful Chemical Reactions. The video is from a site Beautiful Chemistry, which is "a collaboration between University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and Tsinghua University Press (TUP)."

More videos can be found there along with, cartoon characters for each of the elements and beautiful instruments.

In Creating the Microscopic Art of Jon Hopkins' Immunity from The Creator's Project, you can learn more about how Jon Hopkin's (musician), Craig Ward (art director), and Linden Gledhill (artist/biologist) collaborated to make this type of video. Gledhill describes both his set up and creative process. Here's the finished product.

You can find more of Linden Gledhill's work here.

Finally, if you prefer your microscopic videos to have more stirring (than techno) music , check out: BioQuest Studio's videos

Why, it's the twitching blood of our new masters! I want a magenta robot! We can make a Pepsi Cola ocean! Ohhhh that tickles! Why, encrust me with salt diamonds! Five lifetimes from now I will be longing for pure water, and they will just laugh, like a record running on slow speed.

Thank you for this. I've been so incredibly stressed lately. Watching the first link has helped my calmness so very much.
