It's all a bit creepy-pasta, but the one about the armoire did give me goosebumps.

Not the scariest I've ever read, but the armoire and Venka were pretty good.

The armoire one is where I got off the scary train. Are the rest as creepy?

Was Trump hiding in the armoire?

Aw man, going back I see the armoire one was fake. WTF people.

The one about AWN-eh gave me extremely excellent chills.

The armoire story has been removed from the post and replaced with "A Different Kind of Grindr," which I thought should have been chosen initially.

Lyn Never, "This is Maria" was one of my favorites too. I love stories like that.

Was Grindr full of Trump?
I'll show myself out

Here's the post about last year's winners.

Good creepy little stories. I always assume the ones with anything supernatural in them are fake, but the ones that have nothing to do with the supernatural are as FREAKY. AS. HELL. For example: the Grindr one, the one about Jim the meth-head caretaker, the creepy "fixer upper house," the one called "Don't Worry, I'm Leaving."

And oh man, the "My Baby" one! I won't quote from it because it's short and worth reading without spoilers, but it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Night. Mares.

Are we supposed to believe any of them are true?

Probably not, but I do give benefit of the doubt to the ones like "My Baby" that I definitely don't give to the rest of them.

Late to this thread, is there a link to the armoire story?

Armoire story

It's obviously fake, but so is the Venka one and they let that in.

No one is probably reading this anymore, but thanks for the awesome post! I've been reading these compulsively for days.
I agree that the non-supernatural ones are the scariest. "Don't worry, I'm leaving" had me up at night.

Am I the only one who found the armoire story kind of silly? Don't want to write spoilers but I just couldn't believe it. Plus Venka sounds like urban legend.

Fixer Upper and Grinder were also scary as fuck!

Nah, I thought the armoire one seemed too over the top as well. The scarier ones are the ones that are simple and creepily plausible, like "Don't Worry."

Thanks for the extra link, Sister Havana...I want to read them but I'll have to wait till the morning!
