Apparently "chasing the laser" is some kind of drug slang. Kittens these days.

Dammit, title read fail. Also, I made it to about #4 before cracking up.

Somehow I'd missed the "he just said 'she likes Van Gogh'" one before and it really tickled me.

OK, I had to quit after two screens when my co-worker asked me if I was OK.

No, he's a cat. He is definitely summoning Satan.

Don't bother, he's already here.

"Sir are you aware you are a cat?"

I've done that with my cats, too! They all ignore it, except for my dear departed Steve, who used to reply with a very long, interrogative meow that rose up at the end like a question. 'MEeeoooOOOW?!?"

When the second one was a set of traumatized cats who had been rescued from burning homes, I thought I must have misremembered the premise of the post. WTF? Very little laughing there, for sure.

"this doesn't concern you Robert. Please close the door." The caption is as good as the picture on that one.

I think maybe you didn't make it to the end of that post?

Yeah, I didn't laugh out loud until #5.

Did you get to kooky-old-man-who-got-pushed-too-far-by-those-damn-kids cat? Because I never don't laugh at kooky old man cat. It helps if you yell it out like a Shakespearean in blackface: 'Twas I that killed her!

I admit it, I laughed at lots of them, but #23 (Bring me Schrodinger's Head!!) made me laugh so hard I cried, well, drizzled.

These are great and all, but between the rise of WeRateDogs on Twitter and the recent video of the golden retriever reacting to its owner dressed in a Gumby costume, I'm afraid we might have finally witnessed the end of Internet lolcats as a viable national party.

Apparently I am easily amused, because by the end of #2 I was laughing so hard I was crying, and by the end of the first page I was in physical pain from laughing so hard and my dog was giving me dirty looks for disturbing his sleep. I declined to push the button for 20 more entries because I don't think I can take it today.

My mom is in the hospital, on a ventilator. They're working to increase strength in her diaphragm so that, eventually, she can go off the ventilator (Guillan-Barre.) Laughter can, indeed, be the best medicine..! (I sent her the link.)

I loved the first page, didn't realize there was a second page, read that there was a second page here, went back to read the second page and went on to discover the third page. I've seen a lot of these before and thought "I'm not going to laugh." I laughed loudly like four times. This is a huge thing. Any numbers of laughs > 0 is amazing for me. Would click again.

It's 4:45 and I reached the nadir of the afternoon, where I can't even type a simple sentence in an email, about half an hour ago. I am seriously a little concerned about how crazily I'm laughing at these. I'll tab away for a few minutes and then go back to see if they still have the same effect. And they do. I think I'm broken.

I didn't think these were funny cause 99% of captions on funny animal pictures remove all the humor like a vacuum.

Cats are people, right?

There was a story on NPR yesterday about cat yoga. The cats don't do yoga, they just wander around while the yoga gets done. The woman who leads the class sings, "Everybody, everybody is a cat, everybody, everybody wants to be cats, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow-meow."

The line between cats and people is blurring from both directions.

Apparently this is from Everybody by Ingrid Michaelson with lyrics adapted to cats. I'm not familiar with Ingrid Michaelson so I didn't recognize the tune, but I am definitely familiar with the process.

22 is adorable but i'm worried the kitties are going to get up off their paws and start using the pliers on the power cords.

I failed the challenge on #1 and it's not even the first time I've seen that picture.
