I love that one second there's a really tight effect and the next, Chewie is someone wearing a long, brown wig, backwards.

Damn, that Aliens one is A) PERFECT B) such a masterpiece of an original that all the excitement survives replacing almost everything because the timing and framing are so rock solid.

My favorite: Max (son of John) Landis recreates the transformation scene from An American Werewolf in London, with the help of plastic vampire teeth, a wolf puppet, and lots of hairy plaster. (Something tells me it'll end up being better than the AWiL remake he just signed up for...)
