The silent walker

Gondola is a character with a pair of legs, a head, and not much else. He watches as the seasons go by.

Gondola travels far and wide. He's a peaceful observer.

Is Gondola just another mutation, or is he the first truly post ironic meme?

I think I saw some grass grow in one of the seasons, but I'm not sure.

I liked the winter, the shadow gondola casts appears in the lit pane but is there something beside him.

The light from the two windows intersects. The "thing" beside him is merely the remaining area in the shadow of the wall between the windows.

Gondola is a feeling that comes from the tenderness of the heart we might call a New Naivete: the earnest, childlike understanding that it's OK to simply feel things, happy or sad. It is a brave, self-aware vulnerability only possible for those who know the loneliness of self-deceit.

Gondola reminds me of Brit 80s cartoon anti-hero Murun Buchstansangur.

He is a professional house sitter, I reckon. He takes cares of people's houses who go on vacation during the season they don't like, and there's always someone who doesn't like spring, summer, winter, or fall.
