That fox and hound friendship doesn't look nearly as tragic as Disney had led me to believe.

My boys were rescued one day apart because why not add to the crazy. They are besties.

This is likely the last Christmas for my namesake. I do not know if I will retire it then and change to tobythecat. While they are not the best of friends, there is some solace in knowing they developed the ability to lay on each others' butts occasionally.

I love animal buddies more than anything. I want to cuddle all these adorable creatures forever.

Aww, I'm such a sucker for interspecies friendships...or basically any cute animal photos. I particularly love seeing the large breed dogs go from tiny little puppies to giant full grown dogs.
Incidentally, I just adopted a kitty who will shortly be introduced to my dog, Sasha. (Obligatory name this cat askmefi is in the works, naturally). Sasha is a Great Pyrenees so I hope to have my own adorable photos of a giant dog and small kitty in the not too distant future.
Although I do have a cute photo of Sasha as an adorable fluffy puppy cuddling with our elderly lab mix, who has since passed on, so I only have the before picture, but here's Sasha all grown up sprawled out on the couch she adopted.
