The lovely gentlemen at Rebel FM have a (somewhat) annual tradition of recording one really big podcast at year's end covering all the wild and wonderful twelve months in video game music. Want to dive into over four hours of music with the occasional comment? Click here to choose the path of perpetual torment.(audio only, somewhat NSFW)

Shall we dig deeper? The games are listed below in order of appearance, with youtube links (music only) attached when possible.

DOOM
The Banner Saga 2
Abzu
Mirror's Edge: Catalyst
Headlander
The Turing Test
XCOM 2
Civilization 6
Firewatch
Quantum Break
Bound
No Man's Sky
Furi
Oxenfree
The Flame and the Flood
Virginia
Tharsis
VA-11 Hall-A
Rez Infinite
World of Warcraft: Legion
Gears of War 4
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Dishonored 2
Hitman
Watch Dogs 2
The Division

The Last Guardian

This isn't the first music spectacular Rebel.fm has put together. You can find all of them here.

Even with the metric ton of music above there are naturally a lot of omissions, particularly amongst soundtracks from Japan. Including FFXV and Tokyo Mirage Sessions.) What else do you think they missed?

VA-11 Hall-A has some real juicy FM goodness, glad to see that in there.

It's not as in-your-face as most of what they featured, but I wish Stardew Valley got some recognition for a great chill soundtrack, perfectly befitting the tone of the game.
