A little panda-monium

A bunch of baby pandas. Because we all need a dose of adorable right about now. Because with the beginning of the American apocalypse Friday, we could use a nice big dose of adorable. 23 baby pandas making their public debut in China should do the trick.

I don't know... this seems like pand-ering to me.

They're not moving...

Are they.... are they all dead?

That is literally an embarrassment of pandas.

they're tiny fuzzy idiot babies, they're obviously napping. they nap all day except for the 40 or so times they wake up to eat stuff and then immediately poop alarming amounts of poop.

it will take a couple more months before they're at the stepping on one another and falling down always stage, aka the best pandababy stage

Omg - that last little bit showing the gigantic panda mom giving birth to what has to be a gummy bear. My goodness. They are so fragile as newborns. Almost see through. I'm just wow. I knew they were small - but - wow.

It really illustrates the kernel of the truism that the panda-birth problem is due to them simply being too lazy to have sex.

i have with my own eyes seen pandababys trip over a sibling while trying to get to a leafy snack and then decide to just go to sleep right then and there

Quote from the person I showed this to: "This just made my day a hundred times better."

This is probably the most pandas you'll ever see together in your LIFE.

Why are they on a greenscreen? Is someone going to come in and add fun backgrounds... like, pandas in space? Pandas on hoverboards? Pandas napping on clouds?

"beginning of the American apocalypse" nah it won't be that bad :) it's all for entertainment anyway...

It makes me upset that they're so tiny and not with their moms. Do all these breeding programs rely on them being raised by humans? Not a super happy scenario. I mean, better than a Trump inauguration, but still pretty damn sad :-( Sorry.

Pandas napping on clouds?
Yes. Yes we can.

From what I know, it's all just as well, because

Do all these breeding programs rely on them being raised by humans?

The parents are more than likely to let them starve, suffocate them by shitting on their faces, or simply forgetting about parenting as an instinctual concept.

This is also why I don't have children.

Why not?

So many! It's a pandamic!

The Toad, you can find lots of videos online of baby pandas being reunited with their mother. As rhizome said, it's for the baby's protection.

I want to stage-dive onto them, but that would probably be bad. :(

I love watching baby (and adult) pandas but can't ignore that nagging voice in my head that says they're quite possibly too dumb to live without human help.

One of them did fall off. It is now Tumblr famous.

I'm now imagining a world where, when people come to my house I have to tell them, Careful, don't step on the baby pandas.

Should be piled up more. A pile o' pandas.
