You could kick off your Monday with the music video for Brendan MacLean's House of Air, but not if you're already at work.

The video, an homage to Hal Fischer's Gay Semiotics, is as staggeringly NSFW as the song is catchy. So if you're at work, here's the lyrics-only option.

If you're not at work, here's the real deal. And if you don't have a youtube account, bypass the age gate by jumping to the fullscreen clip like so:

Wow, do I wish I'd read the tags for more details before I decided to click on that.

"Keys are also worn by janitors."

Important point.

That moment cracked me up.

There is a definite turning point in the video from slightly NSFW to holy-cow-this-is-NSFW about 2/3 of the way through.

Tag youself; I'm "casual homosexual encounter".

Just kidding, I'm totally "amyl nitrate".

(I'm lots of fun at first but totally dated and will give you a headache.)

um.... READ THE TAGS!

So, sometimes, I play music videos at the start of class to give my (mostly first and second year college students) something to watch while I get everything set.

Sometimes I play a video that I haven't seen before, because, you know, how bad could it be.

I am really, really, really, really, glad today and this video was not one of those days.

LMAOing hard here. I can't say watching that was a particularly pleasant experience (the last third went well beyond what I expected, even with the tags), but I love how the comments are almost entirely from nazis and religious homophobes, outraged out of their minds. Artistic merit or lack thereof aside, pissing off both groups this hard by having this on YouTube (even if just temporarily) is great.

Can't see tags on mobile.

I was kind of surprised it went as far as it did, but it is a catchy tune.

As an aside, anal fisting is for hets and the bi too. So, I must critique the science behind the study, I am afraid.

You can. But they're at the bottom of the page, beneath the comment box and the related posts.

Yes, ignoring the figurative assholes in the youtube comments, actual physical assholes can be fun for every body and orientation (twitch, twitch, clench, shiver...).

Fisto brand shortening was a nice touch.

Prefer other lubes myself, though nothing wrong with shortening.

On a pedantic note, it always bothers me when chaps are specified as "assless" (though "assless" is fun to say). If chaps had asses... they'd just be leather pants.

Me: how nsfw can it be?
Also me: wow glad I didn't watch that on work WiFi!

I wish the gloves were pulled up a bit more, though.

There are some wonderful parallels between this and the video for Christeene's "Butt Muscle," which also just came out. Kismet!

I figure the world would be a more chill place if people could accept that.

Well that reminds me of this, and this, and of course this (a parody of this), and a bit of this.

While it's true chaps are assless, the phrase "assless chaps" is still incredibly useful. It tells us that the chaps are being worn without any pants underneath and we all should go look at the gentleman's taut bottom. No one's going to say "assless chaps" about some cowboy wearing chaps over jeans.

That is exactly what they did in this video

From The Guardian: Queer art pushes boundaries: why I made my explicit gay porn music video
There are some queer artists who would find it easier to shave off the rough corners of our history, to wave our flag but leave out some of the colours that don’t sell to a straight crowd. But frankly, anything beyond the whole truth sanitises our history, and makes it boring.
So if you're a queer artist and you're not producing scat porn, you're just sanitizing our history. Above all else, our loftiest responsibility is to show the entire truth of what fisting looks like to those boring heteros.

That's only true of the new theme. Classic on mobile does not show tags.
