When was the last time you read Maya Angelou's 1993 Inaugural Poem "On The Pulse Of The Morning"? It might be time to experience that inspirational poem [6m25s] again.
Inspired by watching Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise [1h53m] from American Masters. [Video probably region blocked -- advance apologies]

Ah! I came across this first as sampled voice in this dance track from 1996 (*). It took a bit of googling (fewer links to it back in the '00s) but was finally able to make the connection with the original reading. Just wonderful!
(*) - The track itself was part of Jerry Bonham's amazing mix "Spundae presents Interpretations" released in 1998.

Anyone else have their first memory of this as part of the audio when Expedia opened up (back in the 90s)? It wasn't till much later that I actually heard/read the whole poem! Thanks for posting :)

So very timely, numinous, fabulous. Thank you for adding to my levee against this time.
