Not to mention a really cool Java applet that makes ripples go across a picture! That was worth the wading through to find something else neat. :-)

That java applet is here for the lazy. It's basically a variant of ye olde lake effect java (that makes the bottom half of an image ripple as if reflected in a lake). Naturally, I get lots of hits looking for those.

The water ripply applet is another fine David Griffiths product, called PoolMenu. This is the same guy who unleashed the Lake applet. Point people there for Java fun. I've actually used the Ripple applet. The packages are quite easy to configure.
