If you want to see the actual pictures, here's a post by Andrius Burba, one of the perpetrators.

He actually started out with Under-Cats.

I guess my linking is less than clear, because there's two links in the post, the first one going to Andrius' site.

That's not typically a view one would want of a horse--makes it even more weird and wonderful.

Your linking is fine, radwolf. It may be that others are having the same problem as I am with the first link, that the images aren't loading?

Looks like Andrius is using some sort of embedded Wix Image Viewport that seems to be intended to prevent desktop users from right-clicking, which may be failing on mobile and/or because of script blockers. beagle's link has all the same photos that are on the artist's own site, though, so you won't miss anything if you have to look at them there.

I can't imagine how much glass-cleaning fluid they must have gone through.

These are really compelling and I can't explain why.

Or just how thick it had to be to hold that much weight across such a span.

One last addendum and then I'll let the comments be: Prints are available for sale.

Sorry about that, I thought the original post just had one big long YouTube link.

under-cats are on the move, under-cats are loose

I don't think it's possible to build up glass-cleaning fluid to any appreciable depth... ;)

I'm partial to the Under Rabbit one, but why the didn't call it Under Bun I'll never know.

ohmygod does he do commissions? I can see my sister seriously flipping out over this possibility.

They really are exquisite. And here's me, having never once contemplated the underside of a horse before.

The horses remain unimpressed.

As someone who has contemplated the underside of different horses way too many times, I'm happy to be able to say I did live through it, and whatever injuries from whichever wreck were relatively minor.

One of the more spectacular wrecks involved a galloping horse going down on the front end and flipping completely over the top of me. During that moment when all the wind was knocked out of me, I vaguely remember thinking how lucky I was not to have landed on any rocks. Lucky, that is, until the moment I realized I had landed on an extremely large and extremely agitated red ant hill. I've never gotten nekked so fast or danced so wildly either before or after that particular day.

I don't recommend the view from the underside of a horse, for various reasons.

I"ve had a drawing I've wanted to do for a while. I needed a shot of a horse from underneath. I bought a toy plastic horse in order to hold it in one hand and sketch it. This might help. Thanks.
