Secret Message Is Only For Dogs (via reddit)—from this years PROSH, a satire newspaper made by students at the University of Western Australia. BONUS: Plunk your doggo in front of the monitor for a SECRET DOG-ONLY VIDEO TO GET DOGS PUMPED [noisy noisy noisy].

Because: SCIENCE! I just hooked up my good desktop speakers and played this at a fairly unreasonable volume, and I can confirm my housemates dogs are now quite pumped. As are, apparently, most of the dogs in the neighborhood. They seemed to really like the part where the techno guy was going "bark bark bark bark" the best.

At this point I assume I'm going to wake up tomorrow in some kind of kennel surrounded by talking dogs in giant weaponized exoskeletons.

Xoloitzcuintle's reaction was perfect and I laughed (with great love!) a lot. What a good pup.

As a person of a non-determined age (but I've been around), I am super charmed that Robert Hamburger -- or people continuing on the Robert Hamburger name -- is still a thing. I don't know how many times we giggled over the Real Ultimate Power website.

March 23 was apparently National Puppy Day, which I guess only applied to the U.S. But every day is puppy day everywhere. And all dogs are puppies. And they're good.

Speaking of, here is an awesome 18-year-old dog getting adopted. (Facebook link, but it should be public.)

The two dogs in this house didn't move off the carpet. One has fallen asleep. I don't think my dogs can get pumped electronically.


But rabbits and biscuits and leashes and car keys work.
My dogs are pumped.
