It's got a good beat.
And you can put pants through it.

Honestly, you could sell this as a cinematic war drum sample pack and people would pay actual money for it.

Back in college, our college radio station had a late-night show that covered all sorts of experimental and weird music, lots of ambient stuff and field recordings included in that mix. The host got a number of odd calls, being a late-night show playing weird music that doesn't particularly sound musical. One drunk guy called and said that he could make better music with his washing machine. The host said "OK, go for it," so the drunk guy went over to his washing machine and started beating on it. The host put the guy on the radio live for a while, then segued into something else.
And another friend, who was into generally non-rhythmic ambient stuff, found himself starting to get into the rhythm of an album, which surprised him, because he didn't remember there being any rhythm. It was the washing machine, adding a good beat.
In the fake words of Björk (or the words of fake Björk?): everything is music.

The one time I lived somewhere w/ a washer and dryer inside the apartment I was doing the laundry and realized it had a good beat. Then I realized the beat managed to also hit the resonant frequency of the washer and boy that would've been a big mess had I not turned it off.

A real Aphex Twin track would have a title like "Kenmore 41162 4.3 cu (Two Rocks)".

I... have actually recorded washing machines and dryers. And have generated a couple of beats by looping a rhythmically pleasing segment and then using it as a template to program the actual drum/percussion samples patterns. I have also seen people put working microphones or field recorders directly inside an operating washer or dryer.
The most unusual thing about any of this is that none of this is even remotely unusual to me or my friends. And at this point most of them (self included) would think using found sounds from a washing machine or dryer just too cliche and trite, and otherwise just too over-done.

Somebody I know made a crack about unbalanced washing machines in response to a piece that I made (which incidentally was inspired by someone who did the same thing to the drum fill from "In the Air Tonight", which was posted here a while back).
