The Center for Fiction has been around for nearly two centuries, helping authors and readers and promoting storytelling. They have, among other resources, an extensive set of videos by masters of mystery writing.

The mystery writers include:

Lawrence Block. I and II.
Mary Higgins Clark.
Harlan Coben.
Michael Connelly.
Jeffery Deaver.
Dennis Lehane.
Elmore Leonard.
Sara Paretzky.
George Pelecanos.
Otto Penzler.
Ruth Rendell.

One mystery writer they helped early in his career was Edgar Allan Poe.

Other and non-mystery videos of events are here.

This is awesome! My library holds list has increased thanks to posts on that readers link, and I look forward to watching those videos this weekend.
