Nice to see Gumball Rally in there. That was my favorite movie as a kid and has one of my favorite lines.

Unless I'm mistaken, totally missing any cars from Death Race 2000? Some people think that's cute, but to me it's one very large baked potato.

Most of the ones on my list are there, but it's missing this Alfa [video with music] and the most famous car of 1972 [no sound].

Those were neat!

Unfortunately, I had to turn the scrubbing rate down to .5 before I actually had time to read both the names of the movie/TV show and the name of the car before it disappeared. Even that left little time to get more than an impression of the picture itself. It would have been better if this were 50 famous cars in, say, 4 minutes.

Which is oddly the opposite of how I usually feel about this kind of content when presented as a video rather than a slideshow / listicle. I'm usually like 'fercrissakes, I could click through this faster' but this was a little too fast.

Im gonna pull a 'butwuttabout . . .?' here.

I'd've included (GYOV) some of these cars, no less 'famous' than many on Parker's list :
  • 1960 Route 66: 1960 (61,62,63,64) Corvette driven by Tod Stiles
  • 1961 Super Car: ???? Soopuh CAAAAh driven by Mike Mercury
  • 1961 The Avengers: 1930 Bentley Blower (et al) driven by John Steed and 1962(?) Lotus Elan driven by M. Appeal
  • 1962 The Saint: 1962 Volvo P1800 driven by Simon Templar
  • 1965 My Mother The Car: 1928 'Porter' driven by David Crabtree
  • 1968 The Prisoner: 1967 Lotus Seven driven by Number Six
  • 1968 Mod Squad: 1950 Mercury Woody Wagon driven by Pete Cochran
  • 1971 A Clockwork Orange: 1969 M-505 Adams Brothers Probe 16 ("Durango 95") stolen by Alex DeLarge
  • 1971 Columbo: 1959 Peugeot 403 driven by Lt. Columbo
  • 1984 Repo Man: 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle driven by J. Frank Parnell

How d'ya feel about its level of furiousness?

Yes, Herodios, the time frame began too late for my (old old) preferences, so the absence of Supercar and My Mother were awful.

Forgot to add the Banana Buggies (1968ish Mobility Unlimited six-wheel drive Amphicars):

Flippin like a pancake poppin like a cork,
Bingo, Fleagle, Drooper, and Snork.

Love the peppy take on Gary Numan, but...2 movie Batmobiles and no sign of the original (and best) '66 model? Hmmm...

(For you young'uns that don't know what Herodios is talking about)

The young'uns, who I will note have yet to depart from my lawn, might know it better this way.
