Video of stuff being shredded... accompanied by live performance sounds of shredding. Perhaps satisfying to anyone who's ever said "either that pink upholstered armchair goes, or I do" ... or for those of us who may be suffering from way too much peace, quiet and serenity. via the creator, cpi on mastodon

That was... weirdly soothing, but I was truly, completely expecting the live performance sounds of shredding to be the sounds of someone shredding on guitar, so I was a little disappointed. Also a little sad to see those hard drives go, because come on people you can harvest the magnets from those! They're super strong! You can put a quarter-inch stack of paper on your fridge with one magnet! C'mon!

I was expecting the same thing and was also disappointed.

Imagine how much data is on those hard drives. How many photos, how many documents. I'm sure the data has been transferred to a new drive but it's almost sad, seeing all that data get destroyed like that.

Hypnotic!

I liked the ones where they were ramping up, testing the capacity. 1 bicycle, 2 bicycles, 4 bicycles. 1 shopping cart, 2 shopping carts, 3 shopping carts.

The soccer balls were fun.
