awwww, Bellatrix is my husband's leopard (he is her tree) so I sent this to him, since Bell's favorite place in the world is on his shoulders :)

I definitely feel like this information could be adapted to suit, for example, spreading a blanket on your lap without overly disturbing your energy-saving lap cat, or perhaps putting on house slippers without disturbing your sleeping foot-warmer cat. This is a really important avenue of research and I'm glad that it's finally being addressed.

I'm glad Spiggy has a Spiggy-shaped identification tag so in case he gets lost, people will be able to check it and know exactly what he looks like.

I also approve of the shelves of vinyl.

My dopey dude is a sometimes-shoulder cat, but he prefers it if I slouch in my desk chair, so he can wedge himself into the space between my back and the chair.

This feels like a cruel hoax.

youngercatbailard will hop onto a table, stool, cat-tree, or counter and look at me with imploring eyes, pleading with every fiber of her being. And then, when I come and offer a back or shoulder, she bounces up and over to the top of the fridge or bookcase.

It makes me feel used.

Also I need to build cat ladders before summer comes and I start wearing thinner shirts. She's kind of a klutz and uses her claws a bit.
