Those are so cool I really like the one of the cat stretching. Origami is one of those things I'd like to be good at but secretly know I don't have the precision or patience for.

Okay, that's awesome. Thanks for sharing, Wolfdog. :)

Origami is one of those things I'd like to be good at but secretly know I don't have the precision or patience for.

Before RSI was such a part of my life, I used to make little origami things to entertain myself, especially in waiting rooms. (I still do sometimes, but way less.) Creating new shapes is very hard, and well past my skill with the medium, but following directions to make stuff other people have done is mostly just muscle memory. If you have typical manual dexterity, it shouldn't be that hard to get a few shapes down.

(I did the 1000 paper cranes thing in a week in high school one time on 1.25" squares. All fit in a single jar. It was fun.)

Thanks! Looking over some of these triggered my memory--I had been trying to recall a simple swan design I'd found for my daughter a while back. It's called the Great Swanny! (Something about origami and bad puns--for instance the swan I was looking for is found with many other birds at a site with the motto "know when to fold".)
