The one from the restaurbront is cute. What a great way to celebrant cats. I hope no one gets brent out of shape about their ratings system

I'm not sure what's more impressive here, the fact that a random cat allowed the person to play with her or the fact that the person actually is a dog wearing jeans.

Someone needs to review the cat living at the Hungarian Pastry Shop on the UWS. A very friendly beach ball with legs!

12/10 would click again, great cats Burnt.

Yes, good kitties. I may work up reviews on the neighborhood cats that will likely visit me today while I work in the yard. (They're all good kitties, Bront. 15/10.)

They probably should have reviewed this recent cat wedding in my neck of the woods.

Wow. That is...that is some late-stage toxoplasmosis right there :/

We appear to be particularly wealthy in terms of cats to pet on our route into town/to the pub. Two little tabbies about 200m apart and both friendly, one followed us home on Thursday night, which was unfortunate as it discovered we are cat slags and have one of our own at home (-> standoff under the camellia). Down the hill though there is a sweet little ginger cat who gets petted by everyone walking down the path into town, full on rolling on the floor and everything.

Clawing an adult and a child only gets one knocked down to 7/10.

"Cat detonated a neutron bomb when we tried to pet him" - 3/10 for fuss, 10/10 for sass.

10/10 for cat-related excellence.

(They're all good kitties, Bront. 15/10.)

Let's not have fussing rating inflation. It's playing havoc with the national stats.

I make it my business to know all the kitties in my neighbourhood. We've a running joke about my bicycle basket and bell: one ring means the basket is full, two rings means it's empty and I'm coming for you kitties

I am a regular review contributor. Unrepentant cat fusser for lyfe.

I have a cat, sort of. A feral black and white kitty has made my yard her home (I call her Sausage as she is quite plump), but about 20 feet is the closest you can get, 30 feet most days. I also have auxiliary volunteer cats, as backup (however, they don't live in the yard), including an impressive tabby, but lost another black-and-white a year or so ago.

The best part is I have very few rodents around the place, in an area where to leave a car parked outside for more than a day means you now have mice in it, normally. If Sausage goes to her kitty reward I will adopt a barn cat or two, as I have a shed they would be able to use as home base.

Thankfully Sausage and her "friends" don't seem to get many birds, and when they do they're american robins, which I suspect may be one of the least endangered creatures on the planet.

So 10/10 on cat rating site!

This is a cool and seemingly quite specific use of the word "fuss" that I had not heard before. Thanks!

This reminds me of an incredibly friendly calico who used to live on Woodlawn, on my walk home from the U of C. She'd insist on being petted for fifteen or twenty minutes at a time, complete with enthusiastic lap-sitting. Excellent grad student therapy.

SO MANY CATS OMG YAYAYAY!

This is a twitter account I could never have in my stream because they post so often. But it's great to know it exists so I can dip in and out on occasion.

I gave up Twitter long ago but I may have to rejoin. Sometimes I go downtown and walk through certain neighborhoods just because they have a high volume of strange cats ripe for the fussin'.

The Cat Reviewer is also on instagram for those of us not on twitter or fear the firehose nature of the twitter account.

Cute, but wasn't WeRateDogs the groundbreaker in this field?
posted by TochterAusElysium at 10:45 AM on April 18, 2017

Well, WeRateDogs does the rating themselves. My understanding is that The Cat Reviewer reposts user (fusser) reviews. Similar, yet different?
