A lot of these read like Japanese t-shirts with English slogans, which is to say I love them.

I can't tell you how fast I'd go see a movie with Linda Cardellini, Bob Newhart, and Alyson Hannigan but only because I'm unable to do "close to speed of light" math on a Monday evening.

I look forward to the day when first, these bots can auto-script write, and then eventually just CG whole movies. I would watch this damn movie right now.

I don't know what algorithm is doing this, but it's perilously close to my teenage self's non-AI when I was writing short stories - terrible, terrible short stories - caused by a surfeit of 50s and 60s SF collections.

But I would see The Love Cops Of This Gun Train.

(incidentally, the page does a weird thing when I browser zoom - the graphic actually gets smaller. If I zoom out, it gets bigger. The button does the opposite. Huh?)

Cool stuff!

It's probably too topical to make for a super-strong gag, but I think it'd be interesting to apply these techniques to automatically generating variations on the weirdly composed/composited Spider-Man: Homecoming poster.

Right so this is AI generated how exactly?

People are just slapping 'AI' on any old bullshit to get on the bandwagon.

It's about as AI as Eliza, but who cares it's so much fun. Who wouldn't want to see a movie about a haunted doll starring Adam Sandler and Bill Murray. Bill can show him how to be actually funny, in a grim horror story.

Right so this is AI generated how exactly?

There was more detail in the projects post, but the titles and taglines are generated by a recurrent neural network trained on a dataset of thousands of movie titles and taglines, the rest are just templates with some random number generators to do things like picking colors, fonts and actors. It's just for fun, I honestly don't know that much about AI.

I'm sitting at my desk guffawing and tearing up at these (I had to stop at "It's one night" because someone checked in to see what the commotion was (my door is closed so really it was bad))
