Drawing pictures on a sleeping otter's belly. Does what it says on the otter.
Well erm, "squee" etcetera, but why does one have a pet otter?

I understand why you'd want a cutesywutesy baby otter, but they're wild animals and probably not so cutesywutesy when grown-up. Also implied was the "is that legal anyway?" question.
But if I caused anyone grief with my comment, here's another complementary squee:
SQUEEEEE

PetHelpful.com suggests that Asian Small Clawed Otters may be legal to own in certain States in the US, although they tend not to make great pets.
JapanToday.com indicates that Asian Small Clawed Otters are on the CITES, the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (also known as the Washington Convention) Appendix II (not threatened but "strict regulation is desireable") - and while available in Japan for purchase/acquisition, are not legally allowed as pets and if detected by customs while entering the country, will be confiscated.

I'm glad that you don't have to shake it to erase it like an etch-a-sketch.

No big deal, you don't need a wild animal to do that, I can do it on my fully domesticated cat... and I'm off to get stitches.

If they right "hi" on his sides we can create a "Hello from the otter side" meme.
I'll show myself out.
