Oh hey! I see these all the time as I drive around LA and I knew his name, but I never really knew anything about him, so thanks for posting this. There's a Hammer & Pickle poster that I see right before I get on the freeway.

Seeing Conal's 2000 U.S. election posters artbombed all over downtown San Jose led to my first Metafilter post.

It was a simpler time on Metafilter and in the U.S.
