A good example of the proverb: "When life gives you lemons, make a video."

Alright Charlotte folks having some moves! Yellow vest gal in particular. What a fun idea.

She's got MOVES. The moonwalk was nicely done.

The average ad CPM earned by video creators on YouTube is around $2 per thousand, so making that video has made her over $4,000 so far.

This is great. She seems like a really cool person and someone one wouldn't mind being stuck with overnight in an airport.

Awesome! What are those shoes she has on in the video? Those look crazy! I want a pair.

Also, congratulations on meeting Ice-T. That had to have been so great.

so making that video has made her over $4,000 so far.

Seems fair compensation for being stuck in an airport all night. We should all be so creative/lucky!

I don't know how I missed that Lionel Ritchie himself saw the video and commented!

I love this. Some people are just so cool.

This was great! Sweet dance moves and people having fun, love it. Also beats trying to get comfortable on airport furniture.

See, I've been stranded at Charlotte and I just camped in one of those marvelous oversized rocking chairs by the big windows at terminal junctions. Which was nice, but this looks like more fun.

Two-and-a-half hours later, the song is still in my head.

I always have an earworm, usually the same for days or weeks in end, but I have a bad feeling about this one.

Though, somehow and I can't imagine how, I've had Dirty Laundry in my head for days and this is probably an improvement. (Yes, it included the part with the damn typewriter sound.)

Answering my question, her awesome shoes are Nike Air Presto Extreme.

....I have a trip coming up - I took a gamble when booking the ticket and went with a "super-saver" ticket, where I didn't know the full details until after I'd paid. So I didn't know until it was too late that I have to change AIRPORTS in London with only a three-hour window.

Chances are good I'll make it - I've asked for advice on how to make it work - but I'm feeling like this is a good PLan B if I don't.

Aw, that was sweet. Thanks!

The average ad CPM...

I didn't get an ad on the video, anyone else?

This is great. The best part is that she found so many people who were willing to be good sports and participate in it with her.

Dear America, I know you're going through some rough times, but, perhaps if you move all these wonderful people to the front of your collective enterprise, it might make things better.

Just a suggestion.

I didn't get an ad, and there is a decent chance it isn't monetized because she likely isn't authorized to use the music. I read somewhere (here?) that YouTube will sometimes monetize people's videos and send the proceeds to people claiming to be the music rights holders.

Also, I though YouTube cpm was closer to 80 cents? I really don't know anything about it, though, so I could be totally wrong about all of the above.

I loved this. I wanted it to be much longer than it is, so I watched it three times in a row.

I would love to know what she said to everyone else in the video to get them to participate!
