Looking for something to listen to today? How about this three-hour Halloween music show from WFMU? When you’re done with that, how about last year's, or the year before that, or the year before that? (The DJ's name may be a problem for UK readers, more below the fold)

The DJ's name is Dave the Spazz, and the show is his Music to Spazz By Halloween Spazztacular.

Thank you!

The mighty excellent Chances With Wolves also released their Halloween Spooktaculah mix for this year. Past years’ (and other thematic shows) can be found here.

I'd like to recommend Jack Feerick's massive series of Halloween playlists from 2015 on PopDose.

Thanks for all the current links because I am in Halloween mood--I did a spoopy creppy edition on my radio show this morning--and will be for the rest of the day!

(Full disclosure: Jack is someone I sort of know from the Barbelith days, but we've never met. So I guess an Internet friend? Mods, feel free to delete if this violates because I'm not sure.)

Mod note: Quick note - the term 'spazz' is a slur in the UK but not in the US. So, this DJ's longtime name creates a problem where UK readers are being confronted with a pretty offensive term above-the-fold here; I wanted to acknowledge that, and am contacting the OP about an edit.

My favorite spooky instrumental group is Midnight Syndicate, and my favorite of their albums is The 13th Hour. The experience is enhanced by reading the song titles as the tracks play, of course- I'd really like to see the movie this isn't based on.

Numero Group has a spooky 1970s soul playlist up through Sunday.

Mod note: Edited the post to put the name below the fold.

awesome. I made kettle corn to give out to the kids (hopefully no more than 45 come to our door!) and this music is a perfectly retro accompaniment!

I'll recommend Mitternacht by Kraftwerk, which has no lyrics and is just disconcerting background noises for almost four minutes. Good for all your ambient needs.

One of my favorites comes from Bootie Mashup, Halloween Booootie, a series of themed mashup mixtapes.

Another option for rockin' spookytunes is the "Yukon Jack Halloween Special" on Radio Free Phoenix from 6pm to midnight (ET).

May I recommend the spooky swing of Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Raven' performed by The Flat Five?

I recommend the Gorilla vs. Bear Halloween Mixes. Some good, enjoyable, but spooky stuff there.

Ahhhh finally a thread where I can post Skeletons by Inflatable Boy Clams!

I'd make an FPP about it but... I already did
