Sick day away from work today, this really made me smile, which I really needed.

Aw, that's nice - for tentative clickers, this is Astros fans cooperating to return a fan's dropped ballcap.

Hurray, another entry for my "YouTube videos to make me happily cry" playlist!
( I cry at everything. Last week my son got me to cry by just reminding me of a particular dog-food commercial.)

I think my favorite part is when someone drops it and everyone gasps and reaches out to catch it as if it's a baby.

I’ve been thinking about this, and I wonder if this captures a little bit of what people don’t understand about “sports ball.” My sport is basketball, but I have almost as much fun at a Dodgers game, even though I don’t know the players names. There’s something about the comraderie of 10’s of thousands of people who all share one common thing for a few hours.
I was there when this fan made a half-time, half-Court shot, and I can’t describe the excitement. I’m not even a Clippers fan! Or maybe I don’t go to enough crowded events.

I was at this game, and was one of 50,000 people shouting "ASSHOLE! ASSHOLE!" at the guy (after it was determined that he wasn't dead). It was glorious.
