Message in^H^H on a memory card

A camera left behind on a beach in Yorkshire filmed itself being swept up by the tide and recorded the beginning of a 500-mile odyssey across the North Sea. It was found on Süderoog, a tiny German island in the Wadden Sea. The owner is now being sought. (From The Guardian)

Well done Grauniad for not naming the brand of the camera which might be a brand of camera known for clever viral advertising.

I think if it were viral advertising for that brand of camera there would be exotic and exciting underwater footage of the whole trip, not just the first minutes when the camera was swept away.
