It's like a nightmare fever dream... I ended up in a room where the letter G kept chasing me.

I love this, but I don't understand the rules of G(nome) movement. I feel like I'm solving most of those puzzles by trial and error.

I am on mobile right now and control is a little wonky, but I am coming back to this when I have a moment to use the pc. This is definitely the type of thing that I like.

If this is your thing have a look at the excellent Hoplite (App Store as well). It's like a chess puzzle / Rogue crossover where you play a Greek hero descending the underworld to claim the Golden Fleece. All enemy movements are completely predictable, but you eventually make a mess of things and they get you anyway.

What is wrong with you?! I'm trying to hold down a job here! This is going to eat up some serious political thread watching time you realize.

I must be missing something - I'm in the gnomes puzzle, and the gnome and I are moving about randomly while the zombies shuffle up and down. I can't get it to do anything.

Hey everyone. I'm Colin, the creator of RoguePuzzles.com. Thanks so much for playing! (It definitely came as a shock when suddenly 1,000 people started playing the game yesterday. Took me a while to track down where everyone was coming from.)

It's a fun side project for me and I've got a lot of new stuff in the works, including an editor so that everyone can create and share their own levels. If you have ideas, thoughts, concerns, questions, etc. I'd love to hear them.

And as for the puzzle with the G(nomes) and the Z(ombies), you're probably dying frequently and the level is getting reset back to the starting point (I need to make it clearer when you get killed and the level restarts). The idea with that level is to stay alive long enough that the zombies move out of the way and you can escape to the staircase.

(Also, on every level, you can hit (z) to undo at any point, even after you die.)

Thanks again everyone! It's awesome to see so many people having fun with it.

Utterly insufficient feedback is a staple of the genre! After the tenth or fifteenth death I figured out what the fuck was going on and it is delightful.

Finally had time to go finish all the puzzles, except I still can’t open the doors in the main dungeon. Are they for the future? Have I not really done everything? Hmm..
