Now I want to see "Gort vs Optimimus Prime".

Firefly snubbed again.

This is cool, but the only Gort that matters is definitely not 8.5 meters tall, and AT-ATs aren't robots.

One that fascinated me: Star size comparison (including our Sun, also from MetalBallStudios. Who knew there were stars smaller than our planet?).

The microorganisms comparison has a nasty surprise.

Sphere
Lumpy sphere
Sphere
Terrifying spider/claw monster
Lumpy sphere
Ovoid
Sphere...

I'm just glad the T4 bacteriophage is on our side.

Size Comparison of Mecha was one of the first videos of this type to make the rounds.

One that fascinated me: Star size comparison

hmmm...a lot of the colors are wrong there...here's a better one (also includes more planets and stars)

I don't think this is... to scale? The starships one goes from the Normandy at 155m to the Enterprise at 289m and the latter actually looks to be smaller than the former. Certainly not twice as long. This is just a video of starships sorted by size.

Terrifying spider/claw monster

*checks video* ...oohh, the T4...I was about to say "you best not be trash-talking tardigrades on metafilter!" (if you look down at the bottom of the FAQ under 'instant banhammer offenses' it's right at the top between 'username contains "MAGA"' and 'ate it after we all said "no you can't eat that"')

This is neat. Though, I don't understand why it's video.

Jaws isn't named Bruce. Jaws is Jaws. Jaws the shark!

Tardigrades, Mr. Rogers and Gamera appear together on upcoming video "Friend of children size comparison."

No Red Dwarf? INVALID

It's jarring to see the Normandy the same size as the Enterprise, though for what it's worth Wikipedia agrees with 289 m for the latter.

It's a nice effort, but I do sort of wish they'd reduced the number of universes they were drawing from and did more within each one. I mean, you show me a Starfury and a White Star and now here I am jonesing for an Omega class or a Sharlin...

I'm not quite sure about the microorganisms one.
