A Silent Place launches. The new project by Jonathan Harris consists of slightly animated, slightly interactive images, displayed slowly and with a meditative soundtrack. The images are drawings of and inspired by Utah-area pictographs.

"Each drawing appears for 227 seconds and reappears 227 minutes later in a cycle that continues indefinitely."

is it supposed to .. uh.. freak you out a lot? 'cause that's the flavor of skittles this package contains. i can't tell if it's the pulsing or the star trek cloud entity animation or the whispering.

Eep! Moving around cursor -> not freaked out. Scroll gesture on trackpad -> yup, a little bit freaked out.
