What's a best friend for? They listen when you work through life's big questions. They support your plans for the future. They comfort you just by being there. They help you look your best. They give you space to do your own thing. They don't rat you out to Santa. They affirm your accompishments. And they help you deal with monsters under the bed.
Rafael Casal and Daveed Diggs explore the bonds of friendship between a boy and his tiger.
I think these are great! They capture the essence of the comic really well.

I disagree; but I probably have an unhealthy relationship with this comic.
In my late 20's I was at a friend's party perusing his bookcase during a lull in the conversation, and happened to spot the first collection's distinctive typography on its spine. Out of curiosity I pulled it out to casually peruse it...and ended up spending the rest of the party sitting in a corner reading the entire book and giggling my ass off.* Then - THEN, I borrowed it from said generous friend** and stayed up late that night sitting in bed giggling my way through the whole thing again (annoying the hell out of my girlfriend, who just wanted to Go the Fuck to Sleep). After that I faithfully bought every volume the moment was published, devouring each one with a fevered gusto equal to the first. A few years later the series became a favorite to read to my son before bed, both of us giggling our way through them over and over even yet again.
Suffice to say, since then I've felt a little over-protective of Watterson's magnum opus. So I should probably just shut up and let everyone else enjoy it in their own fashion.***
* This says a lot both about my sense of humor and my social skills at the time
** This by the way is the same friend who introduced me to Flaming Carrot comics...he was a veritable god in my eyes

Daveed! How did I not know they did this? I agree the acting could be better, but man those guys really are bffs. Thanks for pointing these out.
