Some of these would stand a fair chance of getting commissioned.

Fun notion but the concatenation seems a bit off, grammar-wise. Generators aren't supposed to be pure word salad.
/nitpickery.

Most would be TV Go Home ready.

(Last updated in... god, 2003. And yet the world remains plagued with Nathan Barleys)

Bring back Monkfish!!!

Some of the problems with the UK tv scene are that a) there are only so many commissioning editors, and they lean heavily towards male, pale and stale and b) those damn millennial snake people refuse to watch Monkfish 3: Prime Monkfish or whatever, meaning that they are chasing an ever-decreasing audience of people who don't know how streaming works and want to watch what is on TV.

A deceased politician with an abandoned list of contacts in a missing fire station must explore a financial scandal so they can finally close an arranged marriage. Stars Adrian Lester.
"Missing" is the polite way of saying it burned down.

Any of these would be better than Hard Sun.

A nearly-retired cop with a plucky sidekick in a world that is about to die must solve a series of murders so they can finally ignore the premise. Stars John Actor.

* have not actually seen Hard Sun

Oh my, Hard Sun was irritating. Way to make the apocalypse drag, writers.

Really it should have been part of the Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes series.

Thanks for turning me on to this perchance.org thing! I enjoy messing around with list-based generators, and this is one of the most flexible and extensible systems I've ever seen.

Now I have a Threepenny Opera filk in my head, oh, wait....

A Neurotic Mefite with a nonexistent filk song based on Mack The Knife must finish his comment before closing the tab and resuming work wiith a meeting just 2 minutes away.

"A divorced gardener with an old parent in a dusty carpark must live up to their sexuality so they can finally re-open a niece museum. Stars Bradley Walsh."

This is literally indistinguishable from actual British drama.

"An adopted housewife with a Docklands ex-lover in a rusty museum must solve missing children so they can finally close their Facebook account. Stars David Tennant."

Wait. This wasn't an actual Dr. Who episode?

A sophisticated solicitor with a pleasant horse in a reclusive retirement community must ignore a high class escort so they can finally learn to cook again. Stars Nicola Walker.

I’d watch it.
