PDN photo annual 2002 showcases their nominated photographs in 8 different categories (including photo websites) for 2002 . It also invites viewers to vote for their favorite photographs.

The personal category is astounding. I wanted to vote but the overall excellence is such that it's almost a shame to single someone out. What a great link and a great way to start off the day.

The web site category is chock full of FLASH, FLASH, FLASH. I'm normally not on the dump on flash bandwagon but there seems to be this requisite need for still photographers to "jazz up" their sites with motion graphics.It becomes supremely annoying after the second site. Meanwhile one of the nominees restrains themselves, not bad photos either.
