I NEED this guy’s product. Now. All pistachio? Let me see how much cash I have...

Great story. I hope the guy gets his license or a break from the man.

My wife and I saw him recently for the first time and bought his baklava. It was really delicious. I need to follow /r/vancouver now for Baklava Man updates!

And thus ends the saga of Baklava Man, he beat the regime in Syria, but chances on his triumph over a conscientious bureaucrat from city hall are considerably longer.

This is a crime almost on par with having a glass of wine with a picnic in a city park or even worse, smoking a (non-marijuana) cigarette where you can be seen by another human. Who does he think he is? Shocking.

Trust me, unlicensed pastry in the street will lead to dogs and cats lying together.

Where does he think he is, some vibrant dynamic free nation? Someone check his papers stat.

Thanks for sharing this really sweet story. I'll have to make a point of trying his pastries if I ever see him.
