What could be cuter than piglets doing stuff? How about piglets getting a bath?

More piglets (plus the occasional cat and dog) doing stuff: 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017

My mother tells the story of how there was a place at the local Ag school where a group of pigs had been trained to step on a platform that would release a spray of cool water overhead, so they wouldn't have to roll in puddles to get cool or clean. Apparently I would beg to go see the little piggies take a shower.

Can't find it right now, but there's a video out there about warming up a cold newborn piglet by putting a swim floatie on him and suspending him in a 5-gallon bucket full of warm water. At first, the little guy panics, but then relaxes as he realizes that it feels sooo good. (I laughed at the bath videos, because they're so far from my experience with trying to rescue chilly, nearly dead piglets. First you have to steal the distressed day-old from an angry nursing sow without her crushing the others. Then you run like hell across the pen and leap over a fence. Then you stuff the piglet under your shirt, go inside, and wait to see how it feels about living after a warm nap. Bath not happening, but wow, does the post-rescue shower feel great!)
