The ones I managed to actually watch were pretty good!

But Twitter's user interface is a spectacular disaster. Is there a hidden configuration setting somewhere I just can't find?

So, I click a link to a tweet. It takes me to halfway down a page with a bunch of other videos and tweets, and the video automatically starts playing, but it's muted, and the whole point is what she's saying. I can unmute it but then I've missed the beginning. But when I try to seek back to the start, it stalls out with a loading spinner. Okay what if I reload the page? Now it's playing again, but it's also muted again. So I guess I'll just give up on the beginning and listen to most of it? Fine. How about the next one? HAHA EXACT SAME DEAL!

Oh yeah, and over half the area of the page can be clicked to dismiss the content that I went there to see.

The purpose of the modern web is to serve advertising to you and your browsing to data collectors. Everything else, including content, is incidental.
