Famed somniohistorian Neil Cicierega would like you to get you up to speed on the official state nightmares of the states of the United States.

When he's not doing serious dream demography research, Neil enjoys dabbling in music.

Heh. I walked by him in Salem filming last week. It took every fibre of my being to not yell out SMASH MOUTH ETERNAL while he was recording.

He sounds a great deal like Norm Macdonald on some of those.

Also, he's right about Florida not having an official state nightmare. Too much screaming to sleep.

I thought it was interesting that he pulled a fakeout with the intro on this using the same silly style of voiceover he's used in some of his previous list-of-things videos (e.g. the races of Star Wars) and then delivering the actual list in basically deadpan normal voice. I wonder whether that was a directorial decision up front, or whether he was originally planning to do the goofy voice and found it basically impossible to do while staring at the camera in public like that. I think I'd have a hard time with it.

Personally I love Brodyquest. Even now, years later, any film we watch featuring Mr Brody is always accompanied by a chant of ADRIANBRODYADRIANBRODYADRIANBROADY when he first appears on screen.

I’m surprised none of the dreams are about little reclusive power filled monsters
