Weird, I don't remember loaning our cat out to anyone.

But since we're on the topic, would anyone be interested in a murder cat?

Oh, so our cat has a cousin, eh?

Oh my god the way his pupils dilate just before he kills her.

But all he wants is world domination and treats and toys and chin scritches and to soak the land with the blood of the righteous!

(Here's the original, on Lea Turner's instagram.)

It's when Maxwell's tail goes still that I knew doom was imminent.

Bang! Bang! Maxwell's silver hammer
Came down upon her head
Bang! Bang! Maxwell's silver hammer
Made sure that she was dead!

No jury would convict Maxwell.

Why would you say 'no' to a cat? It's not a dog.

As the possessee of a black cat named Maxwell, I am officially not allowed to have an opinion on this video. However, the cat currently looking over my keyboard compels me to type that I don't see where the cat in question did anything wrong.

This video brought one of my cats into the room, ANGRY, and obviously thinking the sound had been made by one of my other cats. I just barely prevented an unwarranted ass-kicking.

Related. I clicked on it initially because the dog looks exactly like my boyfriend's dog, and then... whoa!

I am not sure what the human involved expected? That's a straight up murder cat.

Worthwhile.

My cat, half asleep, at 3:30am last night, fell out of bed. So he reached out for something to grab onto. I have four deep puncture wounds in my arm, three deeper gashes across my chest, and two in my other arm.

The only positive thing I can say about the experience is that I have found out that my primal fear scream of pain and confusion is not a high pitched whiny screech.

I love the video of him with his tennis ball! He is a sweet muffin of the apocalypse.

Needs to be a combined gif that ends with a visibly-shaken Werner Herzog listening to headphones.
And what haunts me, is that in all the faces of all the cats that were ever filmed, I discover no kinship, no understanding, no mercy. I see only the overwhelming indifference of nature. To me, there is no such thing as a secret world of the cats. And this blank stare speaks only of a half-bored interest in food. But for her, this cat was a friend, a savior.

I'm next, I had the volume on high and woke both my cats up. I'm sorry!

I mean when a cat starts lashing its tail, vocalizing and inching toward you like that, you should know what's gonna happen.

My orange tabby is not a murder cat, but a whiny beast who begs for scraps and occasionally leaps at ankles.

That links to a still picture of Maxwell with small gourds. Where is video of tennis ball please? Asking for two "friends."

my cat heard the video and came over

to cuddle me, because she is the sweetest kitty in the world.

Maxwell clearly has a grievance that is not being addressed.

If cute meows and big eyes don't work, and verbally demanding justice doesn't work, what else is there to do but leap for the throat.

A lesson for us all, I think.

All three of my cats were mildly concerned about the audio.

I have...somehow escaped having cats interested in going for the jugular. But I agree that saying "no" to a cat rarely has the desired effect. Or any effect, really.

My first cat did this and legitimately scared me when it happened because it was always random and he couldn’t be stopped from biting the crap out of me . The other 80% of the time he was super loving.

Not sure what happened with the tennis ball link; I didn't even SEE the gourd picture. Just shows to go you what an elusive, mysterious beast that Maxwell is.

My dog is still standing vigilantly at the back door searching the back yard for the bad kitty after I played that video.

Bastet, my cat will not see this video - she knows naught about the internet and is a good cat. She learned to fetch last year (as a two year old) - any violent behavior was met with more violence. I am guilt free.

My Niko taught me to play fetch last year! I have to admit, I was a little slow to catch on at first.
